The
Sound Palace provides complete recording
and post-production services for the music professional as
well as the up and coming artist. Our state-of-the-art
facility was designed for music recording
and provides the best mix of vintage analog
and digital recording capabilities.. We
provide tracking, mixing and mastering
services as a single source for projects—this
approach saves both time and money and
assures the highest quality possible. And
our rate structure won’t break your
budget.
Everyone knows that a good sound starts with good instruments,
talented musicians and a terrific room for capturing
it. The Sound Palace was built from the ground up with
only these principles in mind. A detached structure
hidden on a large residential lot, it boasts complete
sound isolation both inside and out. Its walls were
designed and constructed for one single purpose: to
provide “the big sound” for every recording
artist. Almost 2 feet of unique, acoustical treatment
was built in to each surface. 1x8 wood planks were
then acoustically “tuned” to resonate musically
as they were methodically fastened throughout selected
surfaces within the Tracking and Control Rooms.
It didn’t stop there, for recorded sound is only
as good as the equipment used to capture it. At The
Sound Palace we use the same quality equipment found
in some of the industry's leading studios. Vintage
analog names like Neumann, AKG, Audio-Technica, Shure,
Universal Audio, Massenberg, Focusrite ( just to name
a few) are routed through 192 kHz sampling rate interfaces
and into a professional Pro Tools HD3, 24 bit recording
system and mixed using the brand new Digidesign Control-24
console, and mastered with the aid of hi-resolution Logitek meters.
And complementing all of this is The Sound Palace’s
quiet, relaxed atmosphere at our Thousand Oaks facility.
